It has given me hope and encouragement, when I thought the world was ending. Thank you for being brave to share the good, bad and ugly with me. It has been a soothing balm to my soul. The reader can easily follow and realistically understand how you continued your rebellion only because the Lord was not leading your life, it was Satan. I am a Christian, and just found out my 16 year old has been out partying and underage drinking for awhile. I caught her lying and then she admitted details about her experiences. I am devastated and trying to read and learn of similar experiences. Should we take her out of public school, restrict her for a year, or just continue to be a private investigator until she leaves the house. She claims she just wants to have fun..... a similar comment Wendy states in the book. We lift her up in prayer each day, and do know that without a heart change things will probably be the same..... Very sad, but I have given her to the Lord, she is His. Thanks for sharing your experiences, I am anxious to finish the book!
