I am in the middle of reading your book and think it is very well done. The reader can easily follow and realistically understand how you continued your rebellion only because the Lord was not leading your life, it was Satan. I am a Christian, and just found out my 16 year old has been out partying and underage drinking for awhile. I caught her lying and then she admitted details about her experiences. I am devastated and trying to read and learn of similar experiences. Should we take her out of public school, restrict her for a year, or just continue to be a private investigator until she leaves the house. She claims she just wants to have fun….. a similar comment Wendy states in the book. We lift her up in prayer each day, and do know that without a heart change things will probably be the same….. Very sad, but I have given her to the Lord, she is His. Thanks for sharing your experiences, I am anxious to finish the book!

I know how you feel!

Jim broke his ankle 2/4 and is in his 9th week. He did not require surgery as it stayed in place but he could do not weight bearing until yesterday after 8 weeks. He can only put 25# on it so it isn’t much.

I hope you heal quickly.

Thank you so much for your book, Wild Child, Waiting Mom. I have read, and re-read it so many times. It gives me hope, and reminds me that God is at work in the hearts of those we pray for even when we can’t see any sign of it. Please pray for me and my family as we struggle with a daughter who is running in the wrong direction.

Your book has given me much hope for my daugher, Rosie. She is a wayward teenager testing the boundaries. Drugs, Alcohol, Nicotine, and promiscuous behavior have been in and out of life for the past 4 yrs. God has given me much hope and your book encouragement. Thank you for telling your story.

I know there is hope for our daughter, Dana, who is 21 and began living with her boyfriend August 1, 2008. Please pray for Dana. She prayed to receive Christ at four and a half years of age. WOW! I just finished your book while we were on vacation and it’s true – I couldn’t put it down. What an amazing, incredible journey you have been on, chocked full of FAITHFULNESS, GRACE, MERCY, FORGIVENESS, LOVE, PATIENCE… I could go on and on. Needless to say, God will use your honesty and talent to His glory. Praise Him for all He plans out in our lives, even when we mess up, to bring others to Him. It may be face down, or on our knees, but in His time, we get there.Thank you so much Wendi for being so open. I just wanted to tell you how awesome I thought your book was! I’m sure you hear this frequently but, I just wanted to let you know I really enjoyed it! [I was given] a copy of it to read… and I read it in a short time period of 36 hours… not bad for having a 2 year old. Plus, I’m not a reader at all…. so for me to sit down and read a book is pretty good! Anyway, your testimony was just so incredible and I really enjoyed traveling that journey with you as you retold your story!
