I read your book about 4 years ago and how it blessed me. The past 7 1/2 years are hard to describe except it’s been full of hope and then dashed to despair with our prodigal.I am learning to let the kite fly with God in control. My son is 22 now and talking about traveling around the US with a group that panhandles. I can’t let my mind think about the evil involved and have to let God handle it for me. Thank you for working with those who need and want help. God bless you.

What I need to know is what can I do to help the person in danger see that the abuse is coming and to help them get out of it before it happens or at least as soon as it happens. Is it possible to educate, or influence, the person in the situation? How do you best do that?

Thank you for this book…it is like a balm to my aching, hurting soul. There is no pain like that of a prodigal. Unfortunately we have experienced much silence from our church, it makes me weep how lonely and painful this journey has needlessly been for our family. I am going to recommend this book to our Youth Pastor (offer to buy a copy) so parents don’t have to suffer alone. Perhaps the next parent whose child goes sideways will have the support we needed but didn’t get. Your book is invaluable.

I will let you know of our miracle. I know it will come, in God’s time…I get out of bed every morning because “Nothing is impossible with God.” Luke 1:37.

The quote you used, “As sure as ever God puts His children in the furance He will be in the furance with them.” Charles Haddon Spurgeon is excellent. I have written it down.

Thank you soooo much for being my encourager, today is my daughter’s 17th birthday. Your book makes the day bearable and hopeful. I try not to cry but often I do…

Press in and Press On! Our God is able to do exceeding abundantly more than we could ask or imagine (Eph. 3:20).

Hello Wendi….my husband and I heard you speak at Unity and we talked with you afterward. Thank you so much for sharing your story in word and in writing; I have read your book and should take the time to read it again, as we still are struggling with a strained relationship with my husband’s 27-year-old daughter. She has been on the wrong path for ten years now, but at least she has started going to church again and taking her young children as well. We keep praying for God to turn her heart back to Him and bring her back into the light of His truth. She has been exchanging the truth for a lie for so long now, but we know He is able to turn her around. Your story gives hope to others, God bless you as you continue to share.

I have had your book for over a year but just finished reading it. What a blessing. We have been raising our 16 year old grand daughter since she was 3. We have had so many problems with her from the start. She is in trouble now and living with our Youth Pastor. Your book opened my eyes to so many things and areas of understanding. She is ADHD and OD as well. I think we may be able to get her into a House of Hope in Kansas. I see healing and hope for our family. Thanks for writing and laying your hearts open for us to learn from. I have read and re read so many parts of your book. I will recommend it to many people I am sure.

You were the guest speaker at our church today Wendy, Bethany in La Crosse.
We have had a rough time with our daughter to. She is 33 and the struggle still continues, but getting better. Its been a very long journey. We have finally gotten her in church with us,
being of her own choice which we are grateful for. She was sitting right beside me today. Alot of what you said hit home to us. I was so glad she was there and heard your story. We had to get her 3 little boys from sunday school following the service. My husband was picking up your book for my daughter and I.
